My personal journey into Yoga has started more than 20 years ago. I was a busy student and wanted to create a sense of balance in my life. Yoga helped me to feel better, have more energy, develop a positive outlook on life experiences, improve health, and become more flexible and creative.
I have been studying different Yoga traditions: Ashtanga Yoga, Yoga Therapy, Iyengar Yoga, and Yoga for Scoliosis and have been taught to the public in the gyms since 2007 and at South San Francisco Parks and Recreation (2010-2015). I especially love teaching Restorative Yoga that includes deep relaxation, breathing exercises, and meditation – it is gentle and soothing and can benefit all body types and different levels of practice.
Did you know that regular practice of Yoga asanas, deep breathing, and meditation can relax internal organs, calm the nerves, improve blood oxygenation and circulation, and improve concentration. I believe my broad knowledge and experience can help me assist you in creating the most comfortable experience of Yoga practice. I’m a Registered with Yoga Alliance Yoga Teacher at 500 hours level and offer private instructions.
